CS:GO Asia Championships Fantasy recap

As the CS:GO Asia Championships has been brought to an end, we broke down what happened in the Fantasy game and announce the winners of the HLTV x 1xBet Fantasy League.
Another group stage exit for the overwhelming favorites Evil Geniuses and a very poor individual showing for the team's star, Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte, meant that many users were disappointed in their Fantasy teams last week. However, those that went the alternative route and banked on the European mixture of MOUZ had more to smile about during the tournament in Shanghai.

While MOUZ didn't impress at the start, their form rose through the event, with three of their players finishing as top performers: Özgür "woxic" Eker, David "frozen" Čerňanský, and Robin "ropz" Kool. The team that won the HLTV x 1xBet Fantasy League, had all three of MOUZ stars as well as Finn "karrigan" Andersen and TYLOO's stand out player HaoWen "somebody" Xu.
The top three users, which won the money prizes sponsored by 1xBet, are as follows:
1.
bcdtindall (515) - $100
2.FreemanFromHK (474) - $50
3.CISAGL (466) - $25
Important: Winners will be contacted about their prizes via the email linked to their HLTV account. The winnings will be paid out via PayPal.
The best-scoring user lineups were just a bit off of the ideal lineup, which had ENCE's Sami "xseveN" Laasanen as the last member. The 25-year-old Finn scored 61 points in combination with the Leader role.
The ideal lineup, including roles but without boosters, would've scored 541 points:
woxic (AWP) 98 + 50 = 148
frozen (DEFENDER) 89 + 36 = 125
ropz (JUAN DEAGLE) 68 + 36 = 104
somebody (ENTRY FRAGGER) 73 + 30 = 103
xseveN (LEADER) 34 + 27 = 61
Even though he didn't make the ideal lineup, Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand also had a great event, finishing fourth highest with 70 points, with AWPers Dzhami "Jame" Ali and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo also bringing in substantial points, which could've been boosted with the AWP role:
1.
Özgür "woxic" Eker: 98 points
2.David "frozen" Čerňanský: 89 points
3.HaoWen "somebody" Xu: 73 points
4.Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand: 70 points
5.YuLun "Summer" Cai: 69 points
6.Robin "ropz" Kool: 68 points
7.Dzhami "Jame" Ali: 59 points
8.Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo: 41 points
9.Alexey "Qikert" Golubev: 39 points
10.Fernando "fer" Alvarenga: 38 points
